Then on 1993 He went to Luneta to train outdoor with his best buddy and then he met and trained with different Filipino martial arts Master and practitioner from Yaw Yan, Silat, Kuntaw, Arnis, Kali, Eskrima. But three low profile Master caught his eyes and attention due to their realistic approach and principles after training with other Instructors around Luneta. And a lot more!!
Due to his vast training influences and experience, Guro Gani are known as a trainer who thinks outside the box and was responsible for several forward thinking programs within Rapido Realismo Kali. Through experience and research Guro Gani saw a massive void between what was being taught in the way of hand to hand combative, impact weapons, edged weapons and what he knew to be the realities of interpersonal combat. He teach the Filipino concepts of being pre-emptive, aggressive, and fast training for impact, and learning all you can about the adrenal response. He knows that all this has been teached, showed, explained and written about before by well experience and maybe better people than him especially the guy mention above which we admire. We have merely reached similar conclusions from similar experiences and knowledge gain from studying different concept/system and hopefully teach a lot of people who need to protect themselves and learn the Filipino Martial/Fighting Arts.

Paggiran Combat Group
Founded in 2012 and led by Guro Isagani Abon of Rapido Realismo Kali International. The group’s original name was Abon Taktikal Group but later change to PAGGIRAN Training Group due to some internal issues. Paggiran is agutaynen word for Battleground and Guro Gani consider his group as his battleground where he will teach, train and validate effectiveness of ideas, principles, concepts and methods through different pressure testing before they will consider it worthy to share to everyone. Our Goal is to promote and teach Filipino Culture, Sports, Fitness, and effective Combative Arts for Self-Protection through Functional Filipino Martial Arts training. We are open for anyone, male and female, young and old, with any type of fitness level and martial arts experience the cutting edge in Filipino Martial Arts, self-protection, fitness, and personal growth.
In Paggiran Combat Group, we teach Rapido Realismo Kali, a traditional Filipino martial arts but fight focused. Training with the right blend of cultural info, combat sports training, fitness and martial arts character building, but a huge part of the training is focused on fighting as we believe this is the most important thing for martial artist, to know if what he learned and what he knows will works on fighting. Another thing we teach and offer in the group is different short personal protection courses or program that are based on FMA and is aggressive, effective, direct action, simple, easy to learn and retain. Training is based on sound concept and techniques because concepts works a lot than collecting huge amount of techniques. One of the principles of the group is Mastery of the Basic, studying few simple and effective techniques and practice it over and over again until it because second nature than training a lot of techniques. We train progressively from Fundamental drills to Sparring Drills then Situational Drills and Scenario based Drills. Building good fundamental as foundations and testing it effectiveness through a series of drills.
